Choosing to work with a real estate agent when you buy or sell a house is a really good idea as there is so much more to it than you can imagine these days. And choosing just one agent to represent you on a transaction is the best because in exchange for your loyalty to them, they will show you loyalty and respect right back!

Here are a few reasons to work with just one agent when you are looking to buy a home-

1. The agent's loyalties are to you, the buyer. The agent will work to find out what you are looking for in a home, get you pre-qualified with a lender, find you the perfect home, negotiate the best price, arrange for all of the inspections, help you with the overwhelming paperwork, be with you at the closing, and make sure you have the representation you need and are happy with what you are buying.

2.Your agent will not disclose confidential information about you to the seller or seller's agent.

3. Your agent will check the MLS multiple times a day for you and be on top of the market. Your agent will contact you as soon as something of interet comes on.

4.Your agent will preview the property to make sure it would fits your wants/needs and so as not to waste your time if the property has issues.

There is definitely a bod of truct and loyalty that develops between an agent and a buyer, and that often develops into a lifelong friendship, too.

5. Agents only get paid when they close a transaction. So if an agent shows you 30+ homes and then you go and use another agent to buy a house, the agent that showed you 30 homes gets zero for their time. If you have a problem with your agent, talk with them about it first and see if something can be done to correct the situation.
