Recent news reports on PG&E’s published list of “high risk” gas pipelines in the Bay Area have mentioned one such site in the Napa area. In talks with PG&E over the last few days, it has been learned that neither the City of Napa nor the County of Napa have any segments of pipeline on PG&E's Top 100 list of risky/high priority gas transmission lines. The section of pipeline along Foster Road in south Napa had been included on the list, but further investigation revealed that that section had been upgraded in 2009. - Bill Martin, City of Napa
