City of Napa NewsWeekly - On December 8, the City of Napa Water Division will begin the annual Unidirectional Hydrant Flushing Program.  The flushing will continue through March 2012 and will include hydrants located within regions of downtown, Browns Valley, Alta Heights, and Silverado Country Club. Due to the nature of the flushing program, it is difficult to determine the exact day flushing will occur in a given area.  For that reason, the Water Division will update the City's website daily to provide a map of the region being flushed each day and a map of the region that will be flushed next, to help keep the public up-to-date on the progress. MORE
